cat cries in pain when touch her back

my cat cries in pain when i touch her back. I have felt her spice and it seems fine and there is no noticable swelling. she is also walking fine and can jump.

she is not sleeping on her side as she normally does but rather on her front so as not to twist her side.

she has eaten and drank earlier this evening but is now not wanting her favourite treat - milk.

do you think she may have strined her muscles? she came home without her collar which leads me to think she may have fallen or been in a fight.?

Hi
yes i think you are right she sounds like she may have fallen. You have two options really wait a day or so to see if she improves or take her to the vets straight away as she is in some discomfort and may have damaged herself inside somewhere. its a difficult call really.

if it were me i think i would take them to the vets just to be on the safe side.

I do hope she is better soon.

best wishes Kate
