Cat Depressed?

Hi. I have ten cats. I took one of them on vacation with me for 3 days. She seemed so happy and affectionate while we were on vacation, but now that we are back shee seems real depressed. The reason that we took one of our cats on vacation is because she is our baby, and an excellent car rider. We have taken her with us before, and every time we come back she seems depressed for a few days, keeping to herself for the most part. After that time has passed she always seems to bounce back. I just hate seeing her this way. Every so often she will come to me like she wants to be reassured that I still love her. Is there anything I can do to cheer her up? She is my little baby.

Hi
Ever got the holiday blues? Well maybe just maybe this is what is happening to your cat. look at it from her point of view, she has you all to herself for a while then she comes home and has to share you with 9 other cats. This will be especially true if she is a very needy cat or is how can I say, babied a little.
To be honest there is not much you can do other than to make sure than when you return you give her lots of attention and affection for the first day or so and also make sure that she has plenty to keep her occupied and distracted. I have a page with a few ideas for this here
