what happens to cat when it has to lose an eye because of an eye infection?

Hi
Cats cope very well when they have to adapt to a new disability and so losing an eye should be fine.

it may take a little which for the cat to adjust to their new vision and they may bump into things at first a little but i have known lots of cats with only one eye and they cope fine.

recently when i went to a cat shelter they had to remove one eye from five little kittens who had cat flu. the shelter told me that the cats would be absolutely fine.

best wishes Kate
