cat freaks out after eating

Hello,

Every time my cat eats he shakes his head and goes running around. This happens every time. He usually doesn't eat all his food at once, he usually take small bites at a time.
We have taken him to are Vet. and had him checked out,Vet tells us he dosen't know why he is doing this.
I hope you have an answer.

I have seen this before and I really don't think it is anything to worry about. It may well be just habit, my cat would run a way from her food bowl after eating, we never did find a reason and so again was probably just habit.

As long as your cat is eating and drinking ok and does not show any other strange behaviors then I really wouldn't worry.

Hello rich. My cat started doing this too. Have you found any answer for it ? Now we just leave her be. And in 30-45 minutes she's ok.
