cat fur and frontline

my cats fur is matted since using front line.

Answer by Kate
I have never heard of this problem before and i can't see how it could have happened. A cats fur gets matted when grid of some sticky substance gets into it adn when long fur isn't groomed.
It could be a coincidence that after you used frontline your cat managed to get something sticky in its fur.
Anyway you will have to try and conb the mats out, if it is too bad and will hurt your cat you must get a vet or pet groomer to do it. The longer it is left the worse it will get.

Cat matting

My cat has the same problem using Frontline. It causes them not to shed properly and the result is all the older hair getting tangled in the new. THis happens every Spring & Fall with my cat.
