Cat is meowing and has Swollen Anus

I've had my cat for almost a year. She's 1 year old and lately she has been meowing 24/7. I give her lots of attention but she is constantly meowing. I've noticed that her anus is swollen lately also. However, she is in indoor cat, so she's never been outside. Is this normal or could she be sick?

you did not mention if she is spayed or not. If not then she may well be in heat.

Other wise she may have an upset tummy or constipation which may be making her rear end sore. Have you checked for worms?

If she is not in heat and this behavior has continued for over a week i would take her to see a vet to have her checked over.
