cat litter problem

i have a 9 month old cat and every time she poops in her liter box, she finds any rags or napkins to cover her poop?! any idea why. i clean her litter box on a daily basis.help anyone

Ah the little things a little bit confused about how to cover her litter.

She has the desire to cover it but has not worked out that she needs to scrabble the litter over it.

Kittens usually learn this behavior by watching their mother and siblings.

All you can do is try a different sort of litter. You can even get ones made from paper and also ones that have a scent to attract cats to make it more appealing .

you could also try showing her how to dig into the litter by placing her in it and using her paws dig in the litter with her.

She will catch on eventually.
