BonBon

BonBon

BonBon is just 6, and a healthy happy kitty....but now has only one fang left in her mouth. Her teeth are clean too....the vet didnt say much about it when I had her in for rabies shots, she just made a note on the cats records. What the heck is happening to her teeth?? Are the crunchy foods too crunchy? She eats scanned too.

hi
this is unusual for such a young cat. All i can think is that she may have knocked it out when she jumped somewhere. often if a cat jumps from a high spot they can land on their face and teeth loss is common.

if the vet didn't say anything then i would imaging that she doesn't have a any gum disease which is causing this, so there is not much you can do about it.

you may want to speak to your vet just to make sure.

crunchy cat food is good for the teeth as it helps to keep them clean and healthy.

best wishes Kate
