cat lost her meow and isnt eating.

my cat lost her meow. she moves her mouth like she is trying to but nothing comes out. she isn't eating or drinking much now either. she also acts like she is having a hair ball, but nothing comes out then either. why is this?

well the answer very much depends on how long she has been like this.

if it is only a day or so then it could simply be a hairball or even a throat infection. In these cases the problem should clear up in a day or two.
but if the problem goes on for more than two days, you will have to take her to the vets for a check up and some treatment.

Sometimes hairballs can get stuck and needs some treatment by a vet. or there may be some other issue in the mouth or throat that needs looking into.
