cat not eating and always running

hi,

We have a 9 year-old male cat(neutered), Dusty. Just a month ago, he was eating like normal keeping normal. but my mom and I moved to China with only my dad, dog and him in the house. A few days later, Dusty started running at 2:00 am everyday. He rarely does that when we're here. Now he doesn't eat as much. One cup of food can last for several days. Is it because he senses things have changed? If yes, how does that disturb his eating amount and routine?

Even though your cat may be upset by the recent changes I very much doubt it would have effected his eating. Because of his strange running behavior and his lack of eating I would definitely recommend that you take him t see a vet as soon as possible.

Whenever a cats behavior changes dramatically like this it is often because of ill health. In any case I would say that it is better to be safe than sorry.

I hope he is back to his old self again soon
