Cat Screaming

by Anne
(California)

Ok, so my kitten (16 weeks old) loves to be picked up, she's very loving, follows me everywhere, licks, purrs, you name it. But starting yesterday when I pick her up (the usual, normal way) she does like this back flip, screams, and trys to squirm away. She just got a distemper and rabies shot, but so did her brother and he doesnt mind being picked up, so why is she doing this all of a sudden?

It could be that she may still be a little sore after the injections. Keep an eye on her for a few more days to see if she improves. If not then take her to the vets to get her checked out.

best wishes Kate
