Will spaying my female cat make her not want to hunt anymore?

No it won't stop that natural instinct. Nothing will stop that natural behaviour. however it will calm her down, so it may mean that she doesn't feel the need to hunt so often.

If you want to try and stop her catching and killing so much you could also try a bell around her neck. this warns prey that she is coming and so her success rate will drop. Your cat won't mind, the fun is in the hunt not necessarily in the catch.
