Cat suddenly acting aggressivily

My cat is about 4 years old and all lof a sudden she is starting to act violent towards me, my kids, and my husband. I have noticed a weight gain with her in the past month.. and her attutide has totally changed. I dont get a good feeling from her anymore and I'm afriad one day she is just going to go crazy and attack all of us. What could be wrong? Is she sick?

It sounds to me like she could have a thyroid problem. Please see my web page on this for more details, but i think you should definitely take her to see the vet as soon as possible.
