Cat thirsty all the time

my cat all of the sudden cant get enough to drink an is losing weight

you need to take your cat to the vet as soon as you can. it sounds to me like he may either have a thyroid condition or possibly a heart condition.

My own cat had these symptoms and it turned out to be a thyroid condition. If this is the same then it can be quite serious and needs treatment as soon as possible to prevent too much weight loss.

Your vet will probably want to take some blood to do some tests to rule out any other possible illness.
