cat twitching licking walking weird sometimes sideways

my 13 year old cat is constantly wanting attention she twitches head sometimes sratches herself some times walks low to ground tilts head sometimes is there anything i can do or is it just old age she also dosent meow like she used too its more like a growl she also acts like she sees something and theres nothing there please help!

well firstly you need to make sure she does not have fleas or ear mites as this could cause her head twitching etc.

If she does not have these then it could be an inner ear infection. This could cause her balance to be off a little in which case she will need to see a vet.

As cats get older they do start to suffer more from various ailments and so a regular visit to the vets is always a good idea to make sure the cat is not in any distress etc.

As for the seeing things which aren't there, well cats are notorious for doing this sort of thing. I know my cats do it sometimes and it scares me to death. I wouldn't worry too much about this.
