Cat walking very stiff, as if in discomfort.

My cat seems to be experiencing some stiffness of joints. He is an inside/outside cat. Is he stiff because of the cold weather, or are there indicators I should be on the look out for of a greater problem? He is three and a half and a black and white short hair.

hi well it could be sign of cat flu or a serious cold. it can make the joints feel stiff.

the other option is that he may be suffering from arthritis although he is rather young for that i would have thought.

or course he may have fallen and bruised himself.

keep an eye on him for a few more days and if the symptoms persist then a visit to the vets would be the best option.

hope he is better soon

best wishes Kate
