Cat won't let wound heal

Alright i have 2 cats, they were fighting and one of them bit the other one's nipple off... and it won't seem to heal,we brought him to the vet and we had to put a cone on him for a few days, it helped but he keeps licking and biting at it, and it doesn't seem to be healing, and now he's beginning to bite off his other nipples, around the one that is already gone, i don't really understand it at all

Hi when tissue heals it sometimes itches and this is probably why he is nibbling at his tummy.
It is important that he does not make the wound worse and possible cause infection. If I were you I would telephone your vets and explain the problem. they want to have another look at the wound and may be able to give him something to stop the itch etc.
