Cat-butt problems

My cat keeps "crying" and it keeps moving its back feet without moving. I'm wondering if their is something in its butt and how to get rid of it.

Hi Denny
Unfortunately you do not give me enough information to go on really. If it is a female cat who is not spayed it may be part of being in heat.

It could be a male cat marking his territory. Or as you say the cat may be in discomfort in which case only a vet can help.

If the behavior continues or if other symptoms appear then a trip to your vets may be a good idea.
