Cats fur falling out?

My cat's fur around her butt is falling out,and at the base of her tail.Her fur has overall thinned alot.What can cause this??

Often this kind of fur loss is caused either by a skin allergy or a parasite.

A vet needs to look at the area and possible take a sample to test to find out the exact cause as there are many different things which can cause fur loss.

I hope the problem can be sorted out quickly for your cat as this kind of problem can be rather distressing for them
