cats nails

my cat is an indoor/outdoor cat. I came home from work, she was covered in pee and her paws were bloody. I cleaned her up and found her pads cut and some nails missing, will they grow back and how do i keep her paws cleaned?

oh dear I wonder what happened there?

Yes claws should grow back as long as the pad was not damaged to much (this is unlikely)
s for paws, just clean them in a solution of warm water and a little antiseptic. try and keep her inside for a day or two to allow them to heal. She should be fine in a day or so.

Normally this kind of injury is either caused by a fall and she was trying to hold onto something and pulled her claws out etc or she was in a fight. I would put my money on a fall of some sort as she may have been frightened and urinated on herelf by accident.

Don't worry cats are great at bouncing back, it is all part of being a cat I guess, getting into scrapes etc.

best wishes kate
