cats rectum leaking

WE JUST GOT THIS CAT ABOUT A WEEK AGO, AND HER RECTUM IS LEAKING OUT A SUBSTANCE. I WAS JUST WONDERING WHAT CAN WE DO TO STOP IT OR HELP HER?

well it depends if she is leaking diarrhoea or a white or green substance.

If it is not diarrhoea then it sounds like an internal infection, in which case you must take them to a vet as soon as possible for treatment and antibiotics etc.

You did not say where you got your cat from. if it was from anywhere other than a rescue centre then you never really know what underlining health conditions the cat may have. i always recommend a check up at the vets for new pets as it is important that you know if the cat has health issues or not. Plus it prevents any undue suffering for the cat.
