Cats uses neighbours garden for toilet

why has my 9 month old cat stop using his litter tray to poo in and does it in my nieghbours garden it is very imbarrasing and how can i stop him pooing outside he does use his tray to pee in.

I'm afraid I have no answer for you. It is more natural for a cat to go outside for the loo, mine do. And yes they may go in a neighbors garden but they are cats so usually cover it up. This is natural behavior.

I really don't think that there is much you can do if your cats are allowed outside. I'm sure your neighbor understands and if they don't well i'm sorry but we do not live in a sanitized world.
