cats vagina swollen

My cats vagina seems to be swollen and she has been constantly licking at it. She is very irritable and even growls at me when I go near her. She was in heat last week and I did see her have males mount her. Is this a sign of infection?

Hi well it is possible that she may have an infection, a discharge is often seen when this happens.

It could be that she is just sore from being mated, it can be quite a painful experience for a cat.

So it is difficult to say at this point. Wait to see if any further symptoms develop before visiting the vet.

Im very afraid my two homosexual cats love eachother very much and they are very happy to lick eachother all night long like our gay friend cole came to my house and was mauled by my irratble and furry kitten
