crazy cat after she gave birth

after my cat had kittens she went nuts. she is constantly making a loud calling sound almost like she's in heat, a few days ago she started to get onto counters and in the garbage. she's a completly different cat now and i'm not happy about it. why is she acting this way?

it could be that she may be sufering from an hormone disorder possibly brought on by the birth.

To be honest if her behavior has changed dramtically then she should be checked by a vet just in case the birth has caused her some deficiantly which has caused the change.

It is better to be safe than sorry, hopefully it is nothing serious and may just be caused by her trying to get used to her new family.

It has been my experience that once a mama has had her babies they can and do go right back into heat. I would keep her indoors until you bring her to the vet.
