Shelley Gets His Play Time

Crazy cat videos of our cats at home. This video shows Shelley, Byron’s brother doing what he likes best, playing with his human dad. His human dad loves it too, even if it does mean he ends up with lots of scratches on his hands.

Most evening Matt and the cats can be seen rolling around on the floor chasing balls and string. As the cats get older Matt has to make sure he is wearing shoes and a thick jumper, simply because they get more and more energetic in their games and this can mean lots of unintentional bites and scratches as the cats try to get the string.

Both cats like to game where Matt hides a toy mouse behind his back and of course as far as the cats are concerned he is just something to jump on to get to the mouse. Hence the scratches.

Shelley is our soppy cat; he is soft as a teddy bear and just a little bit silly. We love him dearly and wouldn't want him any other way. He doesn't often play with his dad on his own, his brother Byron often comes along and takes over the game. But we always make sure they both get there fair share of fun and games with us.

I think we would miss these game times with our cats as much as they would, it also is a nice end to the day and wears the cats out so that they settle down for a nights sleep and don’t get us up at 3am for some attention. So we get a good night sleep too.

We do like to make sure though that they both get lots of fun and games equally though and we think they both appreciate it. well they come back for more any way.
