crazy cat when she goes to the loo

Everytime my cat is about to have a bowel movement she runs wildly through out the house, jumps up the walls and meows. Then she goes into the litter box and has a bowel movement. I have heard people say this is normal but I don't understand why? Other cats take a "victory lap" or so it seems to be called but mine does her laps before she goes.

Guess what, you have a crazy cat. No seriously though who knows what really goes on in a cats mind. My own cat does a lap around the house afterwards, why? who knows.
I would n't try to anaylise your cats behavior too much and just put it down to her own individula personality. you gotta love them.
