Cats are very intuitive and your cat is probably aware that you being at home is unusual and may be because you are felling unwell. They like the company but also seem to want to give comfort. My old main coon cat would only ever snuggle up to me when I was ill or upset, it was lovely.
Don't read anything else into it other than they want to be with you and make you feel better.
