Hi,

I found 2 abandoned kittens under my porch. After waiting hours and hours for the mother cat to return, as night fell, I Knew she wasnt coming back. I Brought them in and have been feeding them with a syringe.

i Noticed today, one has a bloody cyst on his tail, near his rectum. this was NOT there earlier today. What do I Do? I dont have any money to take him to the vet.

HELP!!!!!!!!!

Hi
well obviously if it becomes infected then he will need antibiotics from the vet.

In the meantime, just keep it clean using warm water. Hopefully it will burst on its own and drain away, but keeping it clean will be the important thing.

looking after abandoned kittens is not easy as they do require lots of care as i'm sure you know. And unfortunately they can be expensive too as often they need vet care in one way or another especially over the coming weeks and months when vaccinations, and neutering become and issue. you will have to make a decision about whether or not you can afford to keep them or to find a new home for them. but god bless you for taking the time and trouble to rescue these two at the moment.

i have some pages on my site about kitten care which you may find of further help also a page about first aid.
