Frustrated cat parent in Cary, NC

by Mimi
(Cary, NC)

My female cat that was spayed is leaving black spots on all my chairs, why is this happening and how do I stop her from sitting the chairs?

I'm not really sure what you mean by black spots. Is it blood? If it is then you need to contact the vet for some advice as there may have been some complications during her operation.

If not then all i can assume is that it is is dirt from her paws etc. In which case there is not a lot you can do apart from trying to train her not to get onto the furniture and to cover it with something.

I have a web page about how to try and stop certain behaviors using a method that the cat will understand

best wishes Kate
