Gemlin becomes Midge - Cat Rescue Story

My husband and I were on holiday on the island of Hydra, Greece. The island is full of cats, one of the reasons we like it!

One night coming back to our apartment from dinner, we found a tiny black kitten , soaking wet at the harbor. We think he had been thrown into the water and somehow managed to crawl out. We took him back to the apartment and fed him as much as he could eat (which was a lot) for three days .
We named him Gremlin, Then our landlord saw him and asked us to remove him from our apartment. We were forced to leave him in a little park and left not knowing what would happen to him.. I told my husband I had a fantasy that a kind English or American lady would adopt him and take care of him. And do you know, some dreams come true. He was adopted by an American lady who took the very best care of him, nursed him through various ailments and made him into the beautiful happy cat he is today.

She named him Midget .Best wishes to you and all cats! Katherine
