hair ball?

my kitty Emma-Lee keeps acting like she has a hair ball. she makes a horrible sound kind of like a cough and nothing comes up. She has been doing this for a few days and also not eating much food. She has also lost weight. any suggestions?

Hi yes sometimes it can take a few days to get them up, sometimes they also need some help. There are some products which help but in extreme cases the vet will have to help out.
