My cat threw up a hairball the other night and ever since she has had a raspy meow. Why could this be and how can i fix it?

Hi
I wouldn't worry too much at this stage. Sometimes bringing up a hairball can cause the throat to be a little sore and this is probably the cause of your cats raspy meow.

Wait a few days to see if it clears up on its own. if symptoms get worse or they just don't go away you may have to seek advice from a vet.

there are products available which help cats with hairballs, if your cat is prone to them it may help her to pass them more easily in future. Please see my web page for more details
