Help for cat on flights

Is there anything I could give my cat to help him sleep on flights. He hates the carrier and is very loud.

There is a mild tranquilliser that a vet can prescribe for just such journeys by animals. But I believe it is only available from the vets. Give them a call and see what they can prescribe.
