Help me.

We started out with one male cat (neutered),Irving, and then we just a got another male cat (un neutered), Aristotle. We plan on getting him neutered. The thing is that the Irving grooms Aristotle and pounces on him and what looks like playing quickly starts to turn into fighting. What would you suggest I do to help them get along better?

A part from getting your new cat neutered there isn't a lot you can do. cats will always sort out there own social behavior. cat playing can look rather aggressive but isn;t usually that bad. After all cats try to avoid injury at all costs as in the wild it could mean death if a wound become infected. So a lot of fighting is all noise etc.

i wouldn't actually worry too much, get your cat neutered and i'm sure after a while things will settle down.

The only other thing you could do is to go back a step or two and reintroduce them again using the method i mention on this site https://www.our-happy-cat.com/introducing-cats.html

best wishes Kate
