I'm worried about my cat

She's like 8 years old and overweight, and lately she's been acting very weird...like she's breathing through her mouth very loudly and she got crust coming out of her mouth, what could be wrong?

sounds to me like she may have a severe cold or even cat flu

The other possibility is that she may have a chest infection or problems with her heart which can affect the lungs etc. I would definitely suggest that you should take your cat to the vets as soon as you can to have the proper diagnoses made so that the correct treatment can be given.
