Is my cat sick or upset?

we moved into a new home just over a month ago. i had to change the cat litter to a different brand because the cat was tracking it all over the house. now, over a week later, the cat is puking and pooping all over the house. he has never done that before. is it the change in the litter, or is he sick? i give him hairball medicine to prevent the hairball puking, but his puking is not stopping and now has cylindrical shape to it with yellow liquid. what can i do?

i well it is difficult to say. It could be the change of environment and or the change of litter or even hairballs it is impossible to really say.

If it has gone on for a while then I think it may be an idea to have him checked out by vet just in case there is something physically wrong. He may have a hair ball stuck if he is prone to them.
