Is she in heat?

My female cat who hasn't even reached her full size, is makeing weird noises while rolling on her back like a dog. Shes also arching her back a lot and rubbing against a lot of stuff. Is she in heat or is there something wrong with her?

yes sounds to be like she could be in heat. Often owners are surprised at just how young a cat can be when they first go into heat.
