kitten become sick after heavy storm...

good day, i have 3, 5 weeks old mix Persian kitten. Yesterday there was nothing wrong with them, they ate and played like any other kitten.....however i notice this morning they become lethargic and refuse to eat? i really need your opinion.

After just one day it is difficult to say whether this is something to worry about or not. Kittens and cats can have off days and pick up little bugs which lay them low for a day or so.

The only thing you can do is to keep an eye on them and if they do not improve or start eating again by tomorrow then you will need to take them to the vets.

There could be many reasons for this behavior and sometimes only an examination from a vet can find the cause. the fact that all of them have stopped eating could suggest a virus or infection of some sort. In which case as they are so young will need to see a vet.

In the mean time try and encourage them to drink water or their kitten formula or feed from their mother if she is there. But if they are not interested then yes to be on the safe side a visit to your vets would be the best option.
