KItten has lumps on her belly

by Louise

My 9 month old kitty has been in heat. She has one huge lump on her belly plus a couple of small ones .Is that becuse of being in heat

No there should be no lumps. As I can't see them or feel them it is impossible for me to say what they could be.

Are you sure they are not her teats becoming enlarged? Perhaps she is already preganant and this is causing them to get bigger.

However they should be extremely large and should not really appear as lumps. there are conditions which can affect the teats and cause them to block or becaome infected. So it may be a good idea to have her checked over by a vet to make sure all is well.

Hope she is Ok
