kitten is always sneezing

We took in a kitten that was born to a feral mama cat outside. I think she was about 6 weeks old when my boyfriend rescued her. She has always been wonderful. She does have worms, but other than that seems healthy. She is going to get fixed, shots ets...on Sept 8th(her appt). She has been sneezing since we got her, but she isn'r sick. Could it be dust like from her going under the sofa and places where there is a lot of dust? I know you can only guess as well, but I was just cutious what you might think.

Thank you for your time.

Hi
well if it is just the occasional sneeze and is not associated with running nose and eyes etc then yes it could just be caused by allergies such as dust etc. However if it continues I would mention it to the vet as it may be a symptom of some other problem.

My own cat suffers from allergies to all sorts of things including some makes of food and this can bring on a sneezing twitching fit now and again when she comes across something which sets her allergy off.

( I have a page about cat allergies which you may find of further interest here
https://www.our-happy-cat.com/cat-allergy.html )

However if you do notice any other symptoms then contact your vet earlier for advice.

best wishes Kate
