Looking for answers for my Mom's 13 yr old cat

My Mom's cat started sneezing alot a few months ago and this has continued, now her cat, a male siamese named Simba, has also visible lost alot of weight and is losing his voice. What could the problem be?

Well if the sneezing has lasted that long then it would suggest either that something is irritating the nose inside or there is a respiratory issue here. The fact that he is now losing weight does suggest that there is something more wrong than just a irritant in the nose and weight loss can be a symptom of other illnesses too.

I am not a vet and also your cat will need to be examined to discover the cause of this illness. I'm afraid that there is not one possible diagnosis for this and i would not like to try and second guess the problem. i don't want to worry you unnecessarily anyway so your best option is to take the cat to see a vet as soon as you can. Sudden weight loss needs to be investigated as soon as possible before it becomes too severe.
