What does it mean if my cat has a lump just below its ear right next to its jaw?

It really needs to be seen by a vet for a diagnosis of what it could be. there are many things that can cause a lump from a simple sting, to a bite mark and scar tissue to something worse like a growth of some sort.
Better to get it checked out sooner rather than later so that if treatment is required it has a better chance of success.
