lump on leg of cat

hello,

i have a ragdoll cat, he is about 14 years old. He has always been a very healthy cat and is today very active and happy. I have found a strange looking growth near the top of his left front leg. It is about the size of a lima bean, white in appearance and you can see some veins in it. It is also soft to the touch. When I do touch it my cat dosen't seem to mind or act as if it hurts.
i am wondering if you might have any idea what this might be ?

thanks

dana

So sorry I have no idea, I am not a vet and to be honest the only way to truly diagnose a problem like this is to get it looked at by a professional. It could be cyst, a small infection from a sting, some sort of growth or even a tick which can look like little lumps. You should really get it looked at soon just in case it causes further problems.

best wishes Kate
