male cat has swollen paws

my cat eddy is not limping but when i sat with him he growls at me when i touch his back legs or hip or paws, he usually likes this that is why i am worried...his paw pads are swollen and sweaty...just started about an hour ago is something wrong?

this does sound rather odd. I wonder if he is having an allergic reaction to something or perhaps has stood on something.

If this has just recently started to happen then it could be a reaction to something.

If this continues to happen tomorrow than I would recommend a trip to the vet to make sure your cat is not in pain.
