Miffed Kitty

Our seven year old male (part siamese) cat who is usually very active all of a sudden looks around like he is lost, acts kind of sluggish and seems to be gasping for air every so often. He doesn't seem to have a temperature or no stools stuck but now wants to lay away from everyone so that no one can touch or mess with him. We looked around to see if there was anything he could have ingested that he shouldn't have (he is an inside cat) and found nothing. We are getting concerned, he's never done this before!

I yes this does not sound right at all but unfortunately he needs to be examined by a vet to discover his illness.

he may have a respiratory infection, or suffering from fits or even a stroke, there are many different things it could be and by just guessing we are unable to help him.

The sooner you can get him to a vet and a diagnosis made the better the outcome for your cat and hopefully a swift recovery.

best wishes Kate
