Missing Cat

Our cat, who loves his home and being cuddled has gone missing. There was another cat who came in through an open door and our cat saw him eating from his bowl. Our cat shot out of the house (two days ago) and we haven't seen him since. We have obviously searched for him and called for him but with no response. We chased the other cat out of our house and garden but I'm worried that he's marked a territory here and our cat won't come back. What should I do? We have another cat, who is female, and they are very close.

Hi
A good idea is to leave some items outside the back door that belonged to your cat, like his bedding etc. This will help your cat find his way home.

I have a web page about what to do when your cat goes missing which you may find of interest

I hope your cat returns soon. It is not unusual for cats to go missing for a while like this, so try not to worry too much at this stage.

best wishes Kate
