mother cat issues

Hi,

My cat had four kittens and was feeding them fine, we kept them for about 7 weeks and we have gave 3 away there is just one left, today the mother cat looks as if her tummy has dropped lower,her nipples are leaking milk and it feels lumpy, she is eating fine and does not seem to be in any pain is there anything wrong?

without examining her it is impossible to say. She may be fine and her mammary glands are still shutting down. Were the kittens fully weaned when you gave them away? It normally takes between week 8 and week 12.

If you are still concerned after a few more days of if her symptoms become worse then your only option is to have her checked by a vet. Lets hope it's nothing out of the ordinary.
