Okay so my mom had a cat who is nutered and I adopted a kitten a while ago and she all of a sudden started peeing on the bathroom floor when there was a wet town on the floor...but now she just pees in there no matter what! I sprayed all kinds of things to get rid of the sent, but nothing seems to be working. I hate spraying her with water, and that doesnt even work! what should I do?!

Hi
your right spraying your cat with water is no good at all and can cause further problems if they then become afraid of you.

what you need to do is to completely clean that room and all the things in it. Cat urine is very strong and even the tiniest speck will make the cat want to use this sport again. Please see my page about getting rid of cat urine here

Your cat will also need some litter training again to try and get her used to going in their rather than anywhere else. this is best done using a confinement method for a few days. The process is described here

https://www.our-happy-cat.com/cat-litter-box.html

However it is important the kitten is spayed /neutered as soon as they are old enough as this will also stop the cat from scent marking so much. this can be made worse if there is another cat in the house too, as they feel extra protective of their territory. having them spayed will help stop this.
