My cat has a liquid mucus like goo oozing from its butt

My cat is a year old, and last night he was laying in bed with me and started farting, and when I looked over I saw a liquid mucus like goo with blood in it oozing from his butt. He was asleep at the time, and didn't even know it was happening. Since then, i've noticed it happening twice. It smells HORRIBLE. I don't know what to do.. please help.

Answer from Kate
My advice would be to get your cats to the vets as soon as you can. It sounds to me like a nasty infection which needs treatment. Anytime blood is seen coming from the rear end like this it is a sure sign that it needs further investigation from a vet.

Hope he is better soon

best wishes Kate

Missing furr patches
by: Joey

My female American Shorthair 3 year old black kitty is missing small furr patches on her front legs. Sometimes, it's one sometimes it's two? Currently, she's missing one small furr patch on hr right foreleg. There's no sign of injury or redness, the furr is just gone. What is she doing or what is happening? I was thinking that she's possibly over licking or rubbing it? Otherwise, she's fine. Any idea's?
