My cat has an allergy. Her hair is starting to fall out.

Hello Kate:

I have a Tabby cat, her name is Sunnie, 4yrs. old. She a inside cat, but goes outside on the screened patio to play. I live in Miami, so most of the time it is hot. My cat problem I am having with my cat is, she has tiny hard pimples around her neck and chin. when I pick or pull at the tiny bump, a piece of hard crusty bump would come out, with some of her hair. Her hair is starting to fall out a little. Nevertheless, Sunnie is eating and playing like her normal self.

Is there a home remedy I can use for this type of allergy?
Please help me, before all her hair falls out.

Hi Karen
well with this sort of problem it can be very difficult to know what has actually caused the fur loss. there many things ranging from bites to allergic reaction that are possible causes and without a vet examining the area and diagnosing the problem it is difficult to suggest treatments.
